DESCRIPTION:Dear Devotees\, \nIt is with great pleasure we announce that the monthly SIL program at Berwick Sakyamuni Sambuddha Vihara will be opened to the public on Saturday 16th April. Due to the COVID-Safe guidelines for social distancing\, only 50 participants can be accommodated. Others can participate as usual via the online channels listed at the bottom of this page. \nPlease read the following important information related to the SIL program.  \n\nParticipants attending the Vihara must be registered using the link. (https://forms.gle/WdGWaE7ADavmQyi2A). (Note: Kindly register ONLY if you are confident that you will be able to attend in-person on the day.)\nAll participants must be triple vaccinated against COVID-19 or should have a valid and current exemption for entry to the SIL program. SUMMARY:Weekly Guided Meditation Program 2022
DESCRIPTION:Dear Devotees\,\nThe guided meditation program will be running every Saturday (with some exceptions\, please check the website event calendar before attending) for 1 hour from 5.45 pm to 6.45 pm and please arrive by 5.30 pm to start on time and minimise any disturbances to the other participants after starting the program. Doors will be open from 5.00 pm if you want to come\, worship\, and prepare yourself for the program. Also\, you are welcome to stay afterward to participate in the daily Buddha Pooja program\, Vas Dhamma Sermon (during the Vas season)\, and/or practice meditation further.  \nDue to the COVIDSafe guidelines for social distancing\, only 60 participants can be accommodated at this stage\, but we are looking forward to increasing these numbers in the future if there is a demand. \nPlease read the following important information related to the guided meditation program. \n\nFrom 20th August 2022\, no registration is required.\nPlease see below for the Vihara COVIDSafe guidelines.\n\nCOVIDSafe guidelines at Sakyamuni Sambuddha Vihara\nWe as a community\, highly value the health and wellbeing of our resident monks\, visiting monks\, and elderly\, young\, and immunocompromised people participating in events and/or special occasions. Therefore\, it is our responsibility to refrain from spreading sicknesses during these unprecedented times.
